Generally speaking, Vermont's Open Meeting Law requires the Selectboard to do the following:
- Have meetings be open to the public at all times.
- Provide advance public notice of meetings, including agendas.
- Offer an electronic meeting platform that allows direct access, attendance, and participation of the public.
- Discuss all business and take all actions in open meeting.
- Take meeting minutes and make them available to the public.
- Electronically record all meetings.

Post the recording for a minimum of 30 days following the approval and posting of the official minutes for a meeting.
