Cemetery

Town cemeteries are an integral part of both the history and the ongoing life of the Town of Barnard and its residents. The Cemetery Commission is responsible for the care and management of the town’s burial grounds, establishing fees, determining rules and regulations for the use of the cemeteries, and overseeing the income from the cemetery trust expendable fund with assistance from the Town Clerk.

The Cemetery Commissioners are elected to 5-year terms.
