Cemetery Commission

MAIN TASK: the Cemetery Commission is responsible for the care and management of the town’s burial grounds, establishing burial fees, determining rules and regulations for the use of the cemeteries, and overseeing the income from the cemetery trust expendable fund with assistance from the Town Clerk.

 

MEMBERSHIP: Cemetery Commissioners are elected to staggered 5-year terms.

MEETINGS: The Cemetery Commission meets on a regular basis and meetings are open to the public.

Barnard Town Offices (basement)
The Commission does not meet during the winter months.
The Commission typically meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7PM in the summer and fall.
