Board of Civil Authority

 

MAIN TASK: the Board of Civil Authority manages the town's voter checklist, manages balloting, counts ballots, and hears appeals of landowners aggrieved by a decision of the Assessor regarding the valuation of property listed on the Grant List. 

 

MEMBERSHIP: The Board of Civil Authority is comprised of the Selectboard, Town Clerk, and Justices of the Peace.

 

MEETINGS: The Board of Civil Authority meets on an as-needed basis.
