Board of Civil Authority

The Board of Civil Authority is comprised of the Selectboard, the Town Clerk, and the Justices of the Peace.

Duties of the Board of Civil Authority include:

• Management of the Town’s Voter Checklist
• Management of Balloting
• Counting Ballots
• Hearing appeals of landowners aggrieved by a decision of the Assessor regarding the valuation of property listed on the Grand List
